L.A. Sportscaster Rod Van Hook Dead At 61

Condolences to family and friends of longtime LOS ANGELES sports anchor ROD VAN HOOK, who died this weekend after a long illness at 61, according to LARADIO.COM.

VAN HOOK, most recently a studio anchor for SPORTS USA RADIO NETWORK, worked at the old KMPC-A, KFWB-A, and KSPN-A (710 ESPN) over the last 30 years. He won Golden Mike and AP Awards for his on-air work.
