VIN SCULLY will be back for another season in the LOS ANGELES DODGERS radio and TV booth. The legendary baseball broadcaster told the ASSOCIATED PRESS that he will return for the 2010 season before deciding whether to retire after that.
SCULLY, who turns 82 on NOVEMBER 29th, has been with the DODGERS since 1950 in BROOKLYN; he told AP that he finds it hard to be away from his wife during the season and "I'm trying to figure out if I can walk away. I'm the horse pulling the wagon with a lot of people on the wagon, so I'm really not sure. God willing, I'll do next year and then we'll just have to wait and see."
SCULLY's play-by-play of DODGER home games and selected road games against Western Division opponents airs on radio for the first three innings on a network headed by CITADEL Sports KABC-A/LOS ANGELES. He calls all nine innings of home and Western Division road games for FOX SPORTS PRIME TICKET and CBS-owned independent KCAL-TV/LOS ANGELES.
