Brokered Ethnic WKTX-A/CORTLAND, OH co-owner MIKLOS KOSSANYI has passed away, according to the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER and OHIO MEDIA WATCH. KOSSANYI died OCTOBER 27th after a battle with cancer at 70.
KOSSANYI and his wife MARIA purchased the station, a daytimer serving parts of northeastern OHIO near YOUNGSTOWN-WARREN, in 1991. They also own NATIONALITY BROADCAST NETWORK, which produces Hungarian-language programming for the SCOLA educational/public affairs cable TV network.
