Julie Davenport Named VP/GSM For CBS Interactive Music Group

JULIE DAVENPORT has been named VP/GSM for the CBS INTERACTIVE MUSIC GROUP, it was announced TODAY (11/11) by CBS RADIO Pres./Sales MICHAEL WEISS and CBS INTERACTIVE MUSIC GROUP Pres. DAVID GOODMAN. The CBS INTERACTIVE MUSIC GROUP was formed in MAY 2009 combining CBS’s music assets such as LAST.FM, and CBS RADIO’s myriad digital outlets including its websites, streaming applications, and mobile initiatives, as well as partnerships with AOL RADIO, YAHOO! MUSIC and MICROSOFT’s XBOX LIVE.
"JULIE is well versed in the interactive space and knows how to best use a cross-section of assets to grow exposure for brands across several different categories," said WEISS. "She is a creative force who will present our formidable national/international platform that reaches more than 40 million users a month to a host of advertisers and digital agencies in a way they have never seen before."
