George Strait Will Have 'Very Limited Role' In Pure Country Sequel

Katrina Elam Will Star In The Film

ALL ACCESS told you last week that extras were needed to film a concert scene for the movie, "A Pure Country Gift," featuring MCA/NASHVILLE's GEORGE STRAIT (NET NEWS 11/6). CMT.com is now reporting that STRAIT will have a "very limited" role in the movie, and it will actually star Country artist KATRINA ELAM.

There has not been much information released about the movie itself, but the TENNESSEE FILM, ENTERTAINMENT & MUSIC COMMISSION's website describes it as a "feature film sequel" to the 1992 movie "Pure Country," starring STRAIT. A release date for "A Pure Country Gift" has not yet been set.
