WXPK Releases ‘Peak Performances Vol. 2’

Two For Two

PAMAL Triple A WXPK (107.1 THE PEAK)/WHITE PLAINS, NY will release the second volume of their charity CD “Peak Performances” on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27th. The station’s PEAK Performance Series puts young artists in a world-class recording studio in MAMARONECK, NY, with GRAMMY AWARD-winning producer PETER DENENBERG for a live session, which is recorded and then played back on the air and online from the station’s website. 

At the end of the year THE PEAK compiles some of the best performances on a CD for charity. This year the net proceeds will benefit THE FOOD BANK FOR WESTCHESTER and THE SIDEWALK ANGELS FOUNDATION established by ROB THOMAS of MATCHBOX 20 and his wife MARISOL. Both organizations are dedicated to helping those less fortunate in NEW YORK’s backyard. 

Volume two features artists such as ROB THOMAS, THE JOHN BUTLER TRIO, THE DEREK TRUCKS BAND, MARC COHN, ERIC HUTCHINSON, DAVY KNOWLES & BACK DOOR SLAM and others.
