SAVANNAH's TRIAD BROADCASTING Triple A WWVV (WAVE 104.9) died three years ago when the station’s signal was sold. But the format has now returned online as WAVE 1049, thanks to former PD JIM DELARA. As you may recall, WWVV was originally programmed by BOB NEUMANN and then by GENE MURRELL before DELARA took over. 

It is part of SAVANNAH RADIO ONLINE, which currently supports four online radio stations and one online video station. Each of the member stations is independently owned and operated by local professionals, with DELARA being the principal for WAVE 1049
