  The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS TODAY (11/17) placed an ad in two D.C. political publications, ROLL CALL and CONGRESSIONAL QUARTERLY, "thanking the nearly 300 lawmakers who have cosponsored the Local Radio Freedom Act."
  Supported by a bipartisan group of 252 House lawmakers and 27 U.S. Senators, the Local Radio Freedom Act counters efforts led by the RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA to institute a Performance Fee on radio stations for music aired.
