Nominees Announced For Top 5 Award

SHANE MEDIA and the TEXAS MUSIC CHART have announced the nominees for their "Top 5 Award." This award is one of four awards that will be handed out at the annual MUSICFEST in STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO on JANUARY 9th, as the TEXAS MUSIC CHART celebrates its 10th anniversary. The "Decade Awards" will be presented by TEXAS MUSIC CHART Editor KATIE KEY and CHICAGO CUBS pitcher RANDY WELLS.

The artists or bands with the most appearances in the Top 5 during the first 10 years of the TEXAS MUSIC CHART are qualified to win the award. Those that are nominated this year include: RANDY ROGERS BAND, ELI YOUNG BAND, JASON ALLEN, PAT GREEN, RECKLESS KELLY, JASON BOLAND AND THE STRAGGLERS, AARON WATSON, CROSS CANADIAN RAGWEED, KEVIN FOWLER, THE DERAILERS, SONNY BURGESS, RADNEY FOSTER, CORY MORROW, WILLIE NELSON and ZONA JONES.
