Louisiana Broadcaster Marie Bergeron Dies

Condolences to family and friends of longtime THIBODAUX, LA radio personality and manager MARIE SERVINO BERGERON, who died SUNDAY in LAFAYETTE, LA at 75.

BERGERON, who started at WELO-A/TUPELO, MS and KWEM-A (later KWAM-A)/WEST MEMPHIS, AR, worked for KTIB-A/THIBODAUX as an office manager, reporter, salesperson and, later, Station Manager from 1954 through 1999, except for a brief 1968 stint at KHOM/HOUMA, which she managed along with KTIB when LATERR BROADCASTING bought KTIB. She hosted the daily "DIALOGUE" talk show.
