PRESIDENT OBAMA has announced a full slate of nominations for the BROADCAST BOARD OF GOVERNORS, which oversees the VOICE OF AMERICA, RADIO SAWA, ALHURRA TV and other U.S. overseas broadcasting services. Nominated as Chairman is TIME MAGAZINE Editor and CNN Chairman/CEO WALTER ISAACSON.
Other nominees include SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT Chairman/CEO MICHAEL LYNTON, former BUSH ADMINISTRATION Ambassador to POLAND VICTOR ASHE, former HARRY REID Chief of Staff SUSAN MCCUE, BLUE LINE STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS Pres. MICHAEL MEEHAN and former BUSH Press Secretary DANA PERINO. All the nominations are subject to approval by the Senate.
