Kudos to HALL COMMUNICATIONS Country WCTY/NORWICH, CT, which recently raised over 13,000 lbs. of food during its 11th annual food drive. The food filled a tractor trailer full of food and they also received over $4,200 in cash and grocery cards. Proceeds go to the THAMES VALLEY COUNCIL FOR COMMUNITY ACTION of SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT and will be distributed through the UNITED WAY GEMMA MORAN FOOD BANK.
Clothes were also collected for the homeless and given to MALTA HOUSE, a small local organization that assists the homeless in EASTERN CONNECTICUT.
