BBC, Private Radio To Launch 'U.K. Radioplayer'

Coming Next Year

The BBC is partnering with commercial radio to offer a single online streaming audio player that will offer all of the over 400 licensed radio stations in the U.K.  The "U.K. RADIOPLAYER" is being developed in conjunction with GLOBAL RADIO, GUARDIAN MEDIA GROUP and the RADIO CENTRE commercial trade group.

The player is set to launch early next year.
