Dave Richmond Shaves Head For Cancer Society Radiothon

FIRST MEDIA RADIO's Country WDWG/ROCKY MOUNT, NC raised over $7,000 for the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY with its radiothon on NOVEMBER 12th. Midday personality DAVE RICHMOND promised to shave his beard if donations reached $1,000 and his head if they surpassed $5,000. 

WDWD Business Manager ANGIE WEBB and Assistant KIM PATRIDGE happily did the shaving honors that SATURDAY (11/14). DAVE tells ALL ACCESS that the station plans to make the radiothon an annual event.
