Taylor Swift Chosen By NBC For '2009 People of the Year'

BIG MACHINE RECORDS artist TAYLOR SWIFT has been chosen by NBC as one of the "2009 People of the Year." She will be profiled in a NBC special hosted by MATT LAUER, airing THURSDAY (11/26) at 9p (ET). 

The special includes what NBC calls “the most fascinating, inspirational, heroic and notorious figures, and most-talked about stories of 2009.” "BRITAIN's Got Talent" contestant SUSAN BOYLE, LOS ANGELES LAKERS player KOBE BRYANT, Pilot CAPTAIN CHESLEY SULLENGERGER and Merchant Sea Captain CAPTAIN RICHARD PHILLIPS will also be interviewed for the program. 

NBC has also announced that the episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE starring TAYLOR SWIFT will re-air DECEMBER 26th.
