D.C.'s Edge Names Ansilio MD/Middays, McEwen Afternoons

CITADEL Classic Rock WVRX (105.9 THE EDGE)/WASHINGTON, D.C. has named SUZIE ANSILIO MD/middays and KIRK MCEWEN as its new afternoon personality. They both start MONDAY, NOV 30th.

ANSILIO previously worked at CITADEL Classic Rock KLOS/LOS ANGELES and has enjoyed stints in NEW YORK CITY, MIAMI and LAS VEGAS as well. "From the SUNSET STRIP to the most powerful city in the world, this is very exciting and I can't wait to rock D.C.!" ANSILIO said.

"SUZIE’s been heard from coast to coast on some of AMERICA’s most legendary radio stations and we're thrilled to have a true pro like her on the team for the launch of 105.9 THE EDGE!" CITADEL/D.C. FM OM KENNY KING said.

MCEWEN is a 25-year WASHINGTON, D.C. and BALTIMORE, including 10 years doing mornings at WIYY (98 ROCK)/BALTIMORE, as well as time at WWDC (DC 101)/WASHNGTON, D.C. "It’s been a long time and I can't wait to rock D.C. again on the station everyone is talkin’ about!" he said .
