As reported here weeks ago (NET NEWS, 11/19), EMMIS AUSTIN RADIO has officially flipped KGSR, after having moved it's Triple A format to 93.3 FM on NOVEMBER 20th, to Regional Mexican "107.1 LA ZETA." Its on-air lineup will be revealed throughout the week, featuring AUSTIN vets and a new morning show never-before-heard in CENTRAL TEXAS.
"We are proud to welcome 107.1 LA ZETA to the EMMIS AUSTIN RADIO family, and are eager to serve this growing listening audience with the same emphasis on community involvement and local programming as our other legendary EMMIS AUSTIN stations," EMMIS/AUSTIN VP SCOTT GILLMORE said.
SANTOS LATIN MEDIA CORP. will consult LA ZETA. "We are thrilled to bring 107.1 LA ZETA to AUSTIN!" SANTOS LATIN MEDIA Pres. JOSE SANTOS said. "SANTOS LATIN MEDIA continues to form great partnerships with dedicated broadcasters, like is the case with EMMIS AUSTIN RADIO, in providing the best programming for the fast growing Hispanic market that 107.1 FM serves in CENTRAL TEXAS."
