  Condolences to family and friends of FARM RADIO INTERNATIONAL founder and former CBC farm commentator GEORGE ATKINS, who died of kidney failure in WIARTON, ON on MONDAY at 92.
  ATKINS founded FARM RADIO INTERNATIONAL, serving THIRD WORLD countries with farm information via radio scripts, in 1979 and served as the CBC's farm show host in the 50's and 60's.
