WQKL Helps The Hungry

For Those Less Fortunate

Beginning WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2nd through SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6th, CUMULUS Triple A WQKL (ANN ARBOR’S 107ONE)/ ANN ARBOR, MI will join FOOD GATHERERS for an outdoor food drive they are calling Rockin’ for the Hungry. People can stop by Busch’s Fresh Food Market on South Main St. in ANN ARBOR each day to drop off non-perishable food.

WQKL will be broadcasting live each day from the store. The goal is to gather 200 tons of nutritious food. FOOD GATHERERS is WASHTENAW COUNTY’s food bank and food rescue program. Since its inception in 1988, it has distributed more than 39 million pounds of food for the community!
