Albany's Talk 1300 Boosts Power

CAPITAL BROADCASTING Talk WGDJ-A (TALK 1300)/ALBANY has doubled its daytime power, flipping the switch on its new signal that boosts daytimes from 5,000 to 10,0000 watts. Nights go from 5,000 to 8,000 watts. The power boost was approved in JULY 2008.

Pres./GM PAUL VANDENBURGH said, "The increase in power allows us to clearly reach more people both daytime and night time. It was our intention when we purchased the station two years ago to make ourselves more listenable. We’re pleased with the response from the public, who have continued to support us from our launch two years ago."
