Tribune Gets Extension To File Reorganization Plan

It's not as long as the company wanted, but TRIBUNE CO. has been granted an extension of its exclusive rights to file a reorganization plan by U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge KEVIN CAREY, who gave TRIBUNE until FEBRUARY 28th to file its plan. 

TRIBUNE had asked for an extension to MARCH 31st, but creditors moved to deny that extension and asked the court to be allowed to file their own plan that would separate TRIBUNE's subsidiaries from the parent company's plan.
