HUGHEY COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling Gospel WQLS-A/PIKE ROAD, AL to FRONTDOOR BROADCASTING, LLC for $175,000. The station has a construction permit to move into the MONTGOMERY market from its present city of license OZARK (serving the DOTHAN area).
In other deals filed with the FCC, SCOTNMEX BROADCASTING, LLC is selling FM translator W276AV/STAMFORD, CT to UNIVISION's WADO-AM LICENSE CORP. for $65,000. The translator rebroadcast UNIVISION's Spanish Tropical WXNY (X96.3)/NEW YORK.
JASON M. RODRIGUEZ/HOMETOWN BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Adult Standards WAMM-A/WOODSTOCK, VA to SHENANDOAH VALLEY GROUP, INC. for $50,000. The buyer is operating the station under a time brokerage agreement and returned it to the air from silent status last month.
The price for MEYER GOTTESMAN's REHOBOTH BEACH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. sale of Talk WCHM-A/CLARKESVILLE, GA to JEFF BATTEN's BATTEN COMMUNICATIONS (WCHM RADIO, LLC) is $91,000 in two phases, with $65,000 going towards the seller's indebtedness to release a lien.
And MEDIACOM, INC. is selling FM translator W293AK/RIPLEY, WV to SPICEMAN RADIO, LLC for $10,000.
Texas CP Sale Closes
JON E. ROBINSON's JER LICENSES, LLC has closed on the sale of a construction permit for a new FM in BULLARD, TX to WALLER MEDIA, LLC for $500,000. The Class A facility will cover the TYLER and JACKSONVILLE, TX areas.MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's BILL WHITLEY represented the seller for the deal.
