Westwood One Inks Renewal Of Deal To Distribute CNN Radio

WESTWOOD ONE and CNN NEWSOURCE SALES have inked a multiyear renewal deal that will see the syndicator continue to distribute CNN RADIO programming to radio stations across AMERICA.
"CNN is a world-class news brand," said WESTWOOD ONE Network Division President GARY SCHONFELD. "WESTWOOD ONE is extremely pleased to continue our outstanding partnership with CNN and we are excited about continuing to grow the CNN brand on radio, which will further benefit CNN, our stations and our advertisers."

Building on a partnership that has spanned 15 years, CNN maintains its strong presence on terrestrial radio as 'the most trusted name in news,'" said TURNER BROADCASTING SYSTEMS SVP of Business Platforms and Multi-Platform Distibution JEREMY LEGG.
CNN Dir. of Audio Programming TYLER MOODY added, "CNN RADIO looks forward to continuing our partnership with WESTWOOD ONE to deliver standout CNN news coverage and original storytelling to radio stations across the UNITED STATES."
