Jo Dee Messina Raises Over $30,000 For Harvest Hands Benefit In Nashville

CURB/NASHVILLE artist JO DEE MESSINA helped raise over $30,000 this past SATURDAY (12/05) for HARVEST HANDS in NASHVILLE. JO DEE performed two shows, alongside youth and children’s choirs, at the BRENTWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in NASHVILLE to benefit the HARVEST HANDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a non-profit, faith-based organization in SOUTH NASHVILLE.
With two shows, JO DEE performed for 3,000 fans, not including the 1,200 who watched the show via UStream.com online. The evening performance is available for viewing online through the end of DECEMBER at www.JoDeeMessina.com/harvesthands. Donations are still being accepted and T-shirts are available for purchase as well.
In other JO DEE news, this THURSDAY (12/10) at 6:30p (CT), she will perform at GREEN'S GROCERY in LEIPER'S FORK, TN to benefit the MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF FRANKLIN. The event will also include performances from RON BLOCK from ALISON KRAUSS AND UNION STATION, ALLEN SHAMBLIN and JULIE LEE. Tickets are available for $125 per person which includes food and drink.
