CUMULUS Sports KTCK-A (THE TICKET)/DALLAS and the DALLAS MORNING NEWS' SPORTSDAY sports section and website have inked a content-sharing and cross-promotion deal, the NEWS' BARRY HORN reported TODAY (12/8). The paper's columnists and writers will exclusively appear on THE TICKET and will have their articles linked at the TICKET's website. TICKET hosts will contribute to the paper's sports coverage, and TICKET podcasts will be linked at DALLASNEWS.COM.
DALLAS MORNING NEWS Deputy Managing Editor BOB YATES said, "It just makes sense for us to work more closely with THE TICKET. It has established itself over the years as the strongest Sports radio station in this market. SPORTSDAY has more reporters covering the local high school, college and pro teams on a daily basis than anyone. By working together more closely, we know we both can have an even greater impact."
"THE TICKET is honored to be partners with a great sports brand produced by The DALLAS MORNING NEWS," said CUMULUS DALLAS VP/Market Manager DAN BENNETT. "THE TICKET and the NEWS combining resources will bring sports fans even greater content in DALLAS-FORT WORTH."
