With regular analyst MYCHAL THOMPSON missing the next two LOS ANGELES LAKERS radio broadcasts due to a death in the family, injured LAKERS forward LUKE WALTON will sit in alongside play-by-play voice SPERO DEDES for FRIDAY's game against MINNESOTA and SATURDAY's in UTAH. The LAKERS are already filling another analyst's job on a temporary basis, as former LAKER player and longtime UTAH JAZZ radio voice HOT ROD HUNDLEY is filling in this month for STU LANTZ on LAKER TV broadcasts while STU LANTZ spends time with his wife, who is recovering from surgery.
The LAKERS are heard on a radio network headed by ESPN Sports KSPN-A (710 ESPN)/LOS ANGELES, where THOMPSON co-hosts middays with ANDREW SICILIANO. The team's TV games air on FOX SPORTS WEST and CBS-owned independent KCAL-TV/LOS ANGELES.
