WQKL Food Drive Nets 258 Tons

Rockin' For The Hungry

CUMULUS AAA WQKL (ANN ARBOR'S 107one)/ANN ARBOR's food drive, "Rockin' for the Hungry," raised 258 tons of food in five days this year.  The efforts, including a live broadcast from the collection location at BUSCH'S FRESH FOOD MARKET, will help the FOOD GATHERERS food bank feed the needy in WASHTENAW COUNTY.

"On behalf of all the people seeking food assistance this year, we are so grateful to ANN ARBOR'S 107one, BUSCH's and the citizens of WASHTENAW COUNTU for making a real difference in our community," said FOOD GATHERERS President EILEEN SPRING.  "When we needed you most, you rose to the challenge."
