At least four advertisers on DEER CREEK BROADCASTING Talk KPAY-A/CHICO, CA have been sent anonymous threatening letters warning that they will "reap hate" if they continue to "sow hate" by advertising on the conservative talk station, reports the CHICO ENTERPRISE RECORD. The letters suggest that workers could be shot or assaulted and businesses torched if they continue to advertise.
GM DINO CORBIN said that the station did not itself get one of the letters but was informed of them by a client. Police are investigating the incident, and the advertisers say they'll continue to advertise on the station.
