Condolences to family and friends of Australian jazz singer, actress, and ABC (AUSTRALIA) "OVERNIGHTS" regular guest SU CRUICKSHANK, who died TUESDAY at 63 after a long illness.
CRUICKSHANK, whose radio appearances with host TREVOR CHAPPELL were called "Diva of Life," sang in AUSTRALIA and LONDON and hosted SYDNEY's MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL OF JAZZ for several years. As an actress, she was best known for playing the mother in YAHOO SERIOUS' hit movie "YOUNG EINSTEIN" and for her role on the Australian series "GP," and had her own TV talk show "IN COMPANY WITH SU CRUICKSHANK" in the 1990's.
