Condolences to family and friends of former WBLJ-A/DALTON, GA owner and GM WERNER WORTMAN, who died MONDAY, according to the DALTON DAILY CITIZEN.
WORTMAN, born in GERMANY, moved to the U.S. in 1939 and served in the U.S. ARMY during WORLD WAR II. He was part of a group that bought WBLJ in 1960.
