Addison To Host Weekly Show For BBC Radio 5 Live

Standup comic CHRIS ADDISON is joining Talk BBC RADIO 5 LIVE for a SUNDAY morning show, "7 DAY SUNDAY," starting JANUARY 10th.  ADDISON is well-known to British TV audiences for his role in the satirical BBC series "THE THICK OF IT" and its movie spinoff "IN THE LOOP."

"I think what's been missing from SUNDAY morning radio is a programme where four relatively ill-informed idiots fail to take the news seriously for an hour. 7 DAY SUNDAY will redress that balance, possibly to a fault," said ADDISON. "And where better to do that than on 5 LIVE, BRITAIN's premier rhyming radio station?"

The show will air in the 11a-noon slot presently occuiped by "THE CHRISTIAN O'CONNELL SOLUTION," hosted by the ABSOLUTE RADIO morning personality.
