KCNR/Redding, CA Launches New Talk Format

Today's the day for the relaunch of M.C. ALLEN's KCNR-A/SHASTA-REDDING, CA as a Talk station, as ALL ACCESS has been noting for several weeks with the addition of the station to the roster of affiliates for some syndicated shows. The REDDING RECORD SEARCHLIGHT has the full lineup for the new format, being programmed by former crosstown MAPLETON Talk KQMS-A hosts CARL and LINDA BOTT, who will be buying the station from MIKE QUINN.

The station will air a local news hour 6-7a PT with JIM BREMER, followed by the BOTTS' "FREE FIRE RADIO" 7-9a. WESTWOOD ONE's DENNIS MILLER is set for 9a-noon, followed by TALK RADIO NETWORK's LAURA INGRAHAM noon-3p and MICHAEL SAVAGE 3-6p. FOX NEWS-TALK's TOM SULLIVAN is on from 6 to 7p, followed by TAKE ON THE DAY LLC/TALK RADIO NETWORK's LAURA INGRAHAM 7-10p, TRN's PHIL HENDRIE 10p-3a, and TRN's "AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS" 3-6a.
