MACQUARIE Talk 2GB/SYDNEY noon-3p host CHRIS SMITH has been suspended for incidents at the company CHRISTMAS party, the station said FRIDAY (12/11). SMITH was placed on suspension last MONDAY and is scheduled to return DECEMBER 28th.

SMITH told the SYDNEY DAILY TELEGRAPH that his behavior was the result of a combination of alcohol and antidepressants and that he does not remember harassing four female co-workers. He said that his wife and children had left their home after the incident and that he is seeking treatment for alcoholism.
