CBS Interactive Takes Ad Sales In-House

CBS INTERACTIVE is creating an in-house advertising network to sell ads on all of CBS' websites, ending the company's reliance on third-party sales networks and selling directly to clients. The operation will use CBS' "Madison" proprietary ad-serving technology and will position itself as a highly-targeted "premium" advertising network that will include CBS radio websites.
CBS is joining some other high-profile websites, including ESPN and FORBES, in taking all ad sales in-house.
