The early reduced "advance rate" for registration for the COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR 2010 expires on FRIDAY (12/18), with attendees being encouraged to sign up at the lower $549 rate before it goes up SATURDAY to $599.
This year's event has several updates to the traditional lineup of CRS events, including a digital liners system replacing the on-site A.R.T.S. event, with a long list of participants headed by TAYLOR SWIFT, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BROOKS AND DUNN, RASCAL FLATTS, TRACE ADKINS, REBA MCINTYRE, DARIUS RUCKER, JOHN RICH, LADY ANTEBELLUM, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, MARTINA MCBRIDE, and many more. In addition, the schedule has been changed so that no more than three panels are held simultaneously, and panels are no longer market-specific.
Registration is available on the CRB website at CRB.org or at (615) 327-4487.
Lineup Unveiled For 'New Faces' Show
Also at CRS 2010, the performers have been announced for the "New Faces of Country Music Show" on FEBRUARY 26th at the CMA Performance Hall, and this year's crop includes GLORIANA (EMBLEM RECORDS), RANDY HOUSER (UNIVERSAL SOUTH), LOVE AND THEFT (LYRIC STREET), JUSTIN MOORE (VALORY MUSIC CO.), and CHRIS YOUNG (RCA). Each act will play a 20 minute set at the show, the closing event for CRS every year.
"The CRS New Faces show is a great way to stay ahead of the curve and see tomorrow’s stars today," said CRB President BECKY BRENNER. "Artists like TAYLOR SWIFT, SUGARLAND, BLAKE SHELTON, RASCAL FLATTS, BRAD PAISLEY and KEITH URBAN were all New Faces performers at one time, and that’s only in the last decade!"
