CLASSIC FM/LONDON founder and former GWR CEO RALPH BERNARD has exited the CEO post at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL after nine months to return to producing radio programming for British stations, reports THE GUARDIAN.
BERNARD, who remains Chairman of CLASSIC FM (now owned by GLOBAL RADIO), told the paper his first production will be a project with JOHNNIE WALKER for BBC RADIO 2. He said that his departure from the ROYAL ALBERT HALL was based on the job being "not what I expected it to be based on my experience in the commercial world," namely more of a General Manager's role.
