FCC Proposes $500 Fine On LPFM

LIFE AT ITS BEST, INC. has been hit with a proposed $500 fine by the FCC for a late license renewal application and unauthorized operation of low power FM KLBG-LP/GLIDE, OR, but the Commission granted its license renewal. 

The station told the FCC it thought it had successfully filed a timely application because it subsequently received notice that a modification application had been granted, but the Commission proposed $250 fines for each violation, the late application and the unauthorized operation.
