CBS RADIO Alternative KROQ/LOS ANGELES’s annual flagship holiday concert, "Almost Acoustic CHRISTMAS 2009," took place earlier this month featuring the best and hottest acts in rock. Beginning today, music fans across the country will be able to purchase and download performances from their favorite artists including 311, PHOENIX, THE BRAVERY, VAMPIRE WEEKEND and RISE AGAINST, exclusively on iTUNES.
Net proceeds from the KROQ "Almost Acoustic CHRISTMAS 2009" benefit album will go to PARA LOS NIÑOS, a foundation for aiding and educating challenged children in inner cities, and the AL WOOTEN, JR. HERITAGE CENTER, a group which keeps children busy and productive in order to keep them engaged.
KROQ’s "Almost Acoustic CHRISTMAS 2009" benefit album will be offered for sale through mid-FEBRUARY. The full digital album is available for $7.99, with individual tracks at 99 cents.
