Gary Greenwood Returns To Froggy 98 For Wakeups

NRG Country KFGE (FROGGY 98)/LINCOLN is bringing back former morning host GARY GREENWOOD as morning show host beginning JANUARY 11th, reports THE LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR.

"To be honest, I'll have some butterflies," said GREENWOOD, who hosted mornings from 2002 to 2008 before leaving for a bigger market in TULSA. "I was on the air there for a long time, but this will be different," he added. "I'm a little nervous, but it's a nervous excitement more than anything else."

Former morning duo JD and SUE BAYOU exited on DECEMBER 11th.

"We're trying for a programming change," NRG GM ANDY RUBACK told THE JOURNAL STAR in the wake of the dismissals. "We felt like going in a new direction with the show."
