SIRIUS-XM has announce a wide array of special NEW YEAR'S EVE and DAY programming.
Among the specials on tap are broadcasts of nonstop vintage NEW YEAR'S EVE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN concerts on SPRINGSTEEN's E Street Radio channel; a classic JIMMY BUFFETT concert at the HOLLYWOOD BOWL, recorded on DECEMBER 31st, 1999, on his Radio Margaritaville channel; as well as stars such as THE GRATEFUL DEAD, GREGG ALLMAN, SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY, LITTLE FEAT, WILLIE NELSON, PUBLIC ENEMY and CRYSTAL METHOD.
In sports, SIRIUS XM will broadcast six bowl games on NEW YEAR'S EVE and NEW YEAR'S DAY, including the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, Texas Bowl, Chick-fil-A Bowl, Outback Bowl, Rose Bowl and Allstate Sugar Bowl. And it will air live play-by-play of the 2010 NHL Winter Classic on NEW YEAR'S DAY, as the PHILADELPHIA FLYERS face off against the BOSTON BRUINS at FENWAY PARK.
