WSDD 100.3 The Sound, Modern Music For St. Louis Signs On -- Others Flip Too!

New Station In Gateway City

After a lot of stunting, former CLEAR CHANNEL Urban KATZ (100.3 THE BEAT)/ST. LOUIS, which flipped to CHRISTMAS early in NOVEMBER (NET NEWS 11/2), following an initial stunt as HALLOWEEN 100.3 (NET NEWS 10/30)  finally stops the format wheel as WSDD "100.3 THE SOUND, MODERN MUSIC FOR ST. LOUIS," at 12:01a (12/26).

WSDD will feature music from artists like DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, SARAH McLACHLAN, KINGS OF LEON. Other artists include U2, TRAIN, NICKELBACK, GREEN DAY, WEEZER, DAVID GRAY, FOO FIGHTERS, JACK JOHNSON, and OWL CITY looks to be a Modern AC station, with a Rock lean. Also, look for BETH DAVIS and CC/ST. LOUIS OM MARK ANDERSON to name a PD for WSDD and Top 40 KSLZ early next week

CLEAR CHANNEL Country WLND/CHATTANOOGA leaves Country and says hello to Hot AC with the slogan "Your Music, Your Life". And, CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Hits WRIT/MILWAUKEE has brought back the "Oldies 95.7" moniker.
