Winston & Ian Call It A Day At Y100

Looking For A New Morning Show

COX RADIO KCYY (Y100)/SAN ANTONIO has announced that today will be the final broadcast of the "WINSTON and ALYCE" morning show. KRIS WINSTON and ALYCE IAN have been doing mornings there for a decade, after a couple decades spent in other radio gigs.

"For nearly 30 years I've been blessed to get paid for having a good time and for making people laugh along the way," WINSTON said. "The SAN ANTONIO listeners are the best in the world, and I thank them with all my heart. But the time has come to move on."

"We are sad to see two of our COX RADIO family members move on, but we understand that the time was right for them to explore new opportunities," Group VP BEN REED said. "We are now looking forward to bringing new talent and personalities to our Y100 team for 2010.

A permanent replacement for the duo is expected in the coming weeks.
