Smaldone On Shovio For A Week

Former longtime CLEAR CHANNEL AC WLTW (LITE 106.7)/NEW YORK personality VALERIE SMALDONE is teaming with former FBI undercover agent and author JACK GARCIA to host a week of shows on LESLIE GOLD's new video/audio Talk streaming station SHOVIO.COM.

"SMALDONE AND FALCONE: CROSSING THE LINE" is on SHOVIO's schedule for JANUARY 18-22 at 7-8p ET.  SHOVIO's lineup currently includes NEW YORK radio veterans GOLD, STAR AND BUCWILD, GOUMBA JOHNNY, former IMUS sidekick KARITH FOSTER, and WQAM-A/MIAMI midday host SID ROSENBERG, plus WFTL-A/FORT LAUDERDALE-WEST PALM BEACH afternoon host JEFF KATZ, HAWAII PUBLIC RADIO anchor DAVE LAWRENCE, and former E! ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION host MICHAEL ESSANY.

SHOVIO is also making a tongue-in-cheek offer to CONAN O'BRIEN to do his show for the channel if he decides not to stay with NBC when JAY LENO bumps his show to a later time.  "We would love to have CONAN and his show at SHOVIO," said GOLD.  "We promise not to change his timeslot, he can broadcast from any location -- disclosed or undisclosed -- and we promise him a JAY LENO-free-environment."
