Former WRQX Midday Personality Celeste Clark Dies

ALL ACCESS sends condolences out to the friends and family of former ABC RADIO Hot AC WRQX (MIX 107.3)/WASHINGTON DC long-time midday personality CELESTE CLARK who passed away on SUNDAY (3/5) after battling colon cancer.
CLARK, a local ARLINGTON resident, had been with ABC since the mid-1980's and was known as "CANDY CLARK" when she began in the overnights during the station's Q-107 days. She was later promoted to Traffic Reporter, and eventually segued into afternoon drive. According to station President/GM JEFF BODEN, "CELESTE was a good friend, and a talented jock who worked every shift on WRQX at one time or another. She will be deeply missed."
CLARK is survived by two sons and her husband JEFF. Funeral arrangements have been arranged for TUESDAY (3/7) at the LOUDOUN FUNERAL HOME in LEESBURG, VA. For more information, call (703) 777-1414.
