WZRK's Joe Makely Passes Away

CLEAR CHANNEL/LIMA, OH is mourning the passing of Rock WZRX (X107-5) midday rocker JOE "BONG BOY" MAKELY following a battle with cancer. JOE, who also worked for ALLEN CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTE in LIMA, was an aspiring stand-up comedian and a veteran of the first Gulf War. MAKELY is survived by a wife and young son. 

Funeral arrangements are pending, but a fund has been set up at SUPERIOR FEDERAL CREDIT UNION in LIMA to assist the family.
