ABC News Radio To Simulcast 'Hope For Haiti' Telethon

The all-star, multi-network "HOPE FOR HAITI" telethon scheduled for next FRIDAY (1/22) will be simulcast by ABC NEWS RADIO. The show, airing live at 8p ET with a repeat for WEST COAST audiences at 8p PT, will run commercial-free across ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, BET, CNN, THE CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, and CMT as well as MTV NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL, CNN INTERNATIONAL, and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channels worldwide. GEORGE CLOONEY, one of the producers and organizers of the event, will appear from LOS ANGELES, with CNN's ANDERSON COOPER in HAITI.
All proceeds will be split evenly among six relief organizations currently operating in HAITI: DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, OXFAM AMERICA, PARTNERS IN HEALTH, THE RED CROSS, UNICEF and YELE FOUNDATION. FACEBOOK and MYSPACE will serve as official social media partners as well.
