WBAE-WVAE/Portland, ME Offers 'Advice For Life'

SAGA Talk simulcast WBAE-A-WVAE-A/PORTLAND, ME adjusts its format from "hot talk" to advice shows as "AM 1400 AND 1490, ADVICE FOR LIFE."

The station retains PREMIERE's BOB AND TOM for mornings, then adds DIAL GLOBAL's CLARK HOWARD 10a-1p, TALK RADIO NETWORK/TAKE ON THE DAY LLC's DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER 1-4p, syndicated DAVE RAMSEY 4-7p, WOR RADIO NETWORK's DR. JOY BROWNE 7-10p, and WESTWOOD ONE's "LOVELINE" 10p-midnight.

Weekends will include PREMIERE's "HANDEL ON THE LAW" and "THE TECH GUY" with LEO LAPORTE, as well as a block of automotive advice shows on SUNDAYs.

"2009 was a challenging year for many Mainers," said SAGA PORTLAND RADIO GROUP  President and General Manager CARY PAHIGIAN.  "As people look to improve their lives in 2010 -- whether it’s seeking employment, managing their finances, or improving personal relationships, there’s a demand for advice based talk radio and we saw an opportunity to fill that need with some of talk’s biggest names anchoring an all-star lineup of personalities."
