Artists Team Up For 'Hope For Haiti Now' Telethon

BIG MACHINE RECORDS artist TAYLOR SWIFT and CAPITOL/NASHVILLE star KEITH URBAN are among the artists set to perform at FRIDAY's (1/22) "Hope For Haiti Now" telethon for earthquake relief. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, RIHANNA, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, ALICIA KEYS, DAVE MATTHEWS, JOHN LEGEND, STEVIE WONDER, KID ROCK, COLDPLAY, JAY-Z, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and SHERYL CROW will also
perform from locations in LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK and LONDON.Actor GEORGE CLOONEY will host the event from LOS ANGELES and HAITIAN-born musician WYCLEF JEAN will host in NEW YORK. CNN's ANDERSON COOPER will be hosting from HAITI.
The show, airing live at 8p (ET) with a repeat for WEST COAST audiences at 8p (PT), will run commercial-free across ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, BET, CNN, THE CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, and CMT as well as MTV NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL, CNN INTERNATIONAL, and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channels worldwide.
All proceeds will be split evenly among six relief organizations currently operating in HAITI: DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, OXFAM AMERICA, PARTNERS IN HEALTH, THE RED CROSS, UNICEF and YELE FOUNDATION. FACEBOOK and MYSPACE will serve as official social media partners as well and the telethon will be simulcast by ABC NEWS RADIO.
