Station Owner Harold Glunt Dies

Condolences to family and friends of BEACON BROADCASTING owner HAROLD GLUNT, who died on THURSDAY (1/21) of cancer in NILES, OH at 75, according to the TRIBUNE CHRONICLE and OHIO MEDIA WATCH.

GLUNT, who owned steel supply firm GLUNT INDUSTRIES, launched BEACON to buy a cluster of stations in the YOUNGSTOWN region, including Contemporary Christian-Rock-Talk WEXC (INDIE 107.1)/GREENVILLE, PA, Sports WANR-A (FOX SPORTS 1570)/WARREN, OH, Contemporary Christian WRTK-A (FREQ 1540)/NILES, OH, Classic Country WLOA-A/FARRELL, and PA-WGRP-A/GREENVILLE, PA.
