LIBERMAN Talk KSEV-A/HOUSTON host DAN PATRICK won the Republican nomination for a state Senate seat in TEXAS on TUESDAY, winning 68% of the vote against State Rep. PEGGY HAMRIC, State Rep. JOE NIXON, and HOUSTON Councilman MARK ELLIS, and thus avoiding a runoff. PATRICK will face Democrat F. MICHAEL KUBOSH in the NOVEMBER General Election; he came off the air in DECEMBER to avoid having to grant his opponents equal time.
